Yarn, Glorious Yarn

I went shopping! Online from the comfort of my recliner. I  finally found a good offer on shipping. Twenty five cents for the entire order, as long as the order was for more than $35 dollars. I was over that. Way over!

The items all came on the same day, but in three different boxes.

It took time to match everything in the boxes to what I ordered and what was on the packing lists. Once done I found one item missing, but that was one I knew was going to be back ordered for a few weeks.

Dobby checking things out, what happened to all those open shelves I saw just a few weeks ago? Yeah, the shelves are full and there are a few items in one box you can't see.

Dobby hasn't shown that he is much of a box kitty. He did go inside one of the larger boxes for a few minutes. I did leave them sit out for a few days but he didn't show any interest beyond that first visit.

Oh and on Thursday Dobby showed me that he really trusts me. He used the litter box while I was standing there. I had just finished scooping them and he wandered over to re-christen the box.

Plus the scammers are out. I got a text stating an item I had purchased in March was under recall. OK, I bought stuff for Dobby during that time frame. Checked Amazon directly, the order number in the text didn't match ANY order I had done all year. Yeah, I'm not that senile or dumb to click on your link.

Happy Weekend.

  3. Dobby - get used to my man: THIS - the cupboard filled with yarn - is normal. It was the empty shelves that were a rare sight.
Good to see you get yourself such a wonderful haul of yarn.

  4. Oh, that looks beautiful. You are going to make some delightfully lovely blankets and hats from this.
