Wonderful Wordy Wednesday

Megan had so many comments a week or two ago I need to respond. I didn't get into the George Cross books, not the story as much as the writing style. I have watched the show Professor T and like it.

Dobby has a very expressive tail. I knew he was doing well here when is tail is up. His tails also has a tendency to curl over at the end like a question mark. Dobby has been here now for two months!

Weather has been up and down when it comes to temperature. Heat has been on until last weekend. I have long sleeves on as well, socks too. I can't wait until things warm up and stay warm. Our car event last weekend it was 84F on Saturday, 56F on Sunday. I did get to the garden store this week and buy a few annuals, they shouldn't freeze anymore. It has been a roller coaster in terms of temperature this month.

The Crypt Thief - second installment of the Hugo Marston books. In this a couple is found dead in the Paris cemetery near where Jim Morrison is buried. Then days later several crypts are broken into and bones taken, the crypts holding the remains of women who danced at Moulin Rouge. A serial killer with a fetish?

The Likeness - second book of the Dublin Murder Squad. Detective Cassie Maddox had moved from the murder squad to domestic violence. She is pulled back into the murder squad when a victim is a doppleganger, right down to a name Cassie used when she was undercover. So Cassie goes back to undercover to figure out who exactly got murdered and why.

Replaceable You - author Mary Roach taking am amusing look at all of the ways humans can be replaced. Not totally, but joint replacement, organ transplants, skin transplant, devices like iron lungs. So much that we might want to replace or repair on our bodies.

My Lovely Wife - a thriller! A married couple who spices up their marriage by murder. Not just murder but serial murders. Will they get caught? If so, will they blame each other?

The Surrogate Mother - Abby is a successful advertising executive, married but one thing is missing. A child. When she is unable to conceive they turn to surrogacy. First one falls through and then her assistant Monica says she is willing to be their surrogate. But Monica isn't what she appears on the surface. Many twists, good book.

The Devil's Triangle - installment of the Brit in the FBI. Joined forces with a previous nemisis, The Fox, to bring down twins who are trying to take over the world by controlling the weather and finding The Ark of the Covenant that their mother died trying to find.

 Happy Reading

You are working through two of my favorite series: The Dublin Murder Squad and A Brit in the FBI.
They are so different from each other, but great mysteries and characters.
Have added My Lovely Wife to be TBR; thanks!
