Crochet Time - Kids Hats -Batch 2

Heat and humidity are starting up again. Had a few nice days of weather and could open up the windows and be outside without feeling that you would keel over from heat stroke.  

My guess on the tie dye jumpsuit from Wednesday's post was a purchased item. In addition to the tie dye there were some stars on the front. I am sure most people in the US have some article of clothing that is red, white and blue. 

Sort of watching the rest of the World Cup matches. Down to one match per day. Although I see on the TV that they still have the pre-match TV show is two hours long. What do they have to talk about for that long? I usually try to tune in when I think the match is mostly over. My picks for the final four? Argentina, England, France and Spain. I know France made it, time will tell if I am correct on the other three.  

Dobby is driving me crazy the past few evenings. The rest of the day is fine, but come after dinner he wants to invade my space. Try to eat my yarn if I am working on crochet, or sitting on me so I can't see the TV. Oh well, love my little guy.  


Another 13 hats made. I went back through the remaining yarn and picked out the larger of the remains and reweighed them. These I felt I could get a full hat out with the exception of two colors. Those I could easily make large enough with the use of a solid off white yarn. 

So keeping at the hats for the time being. Anything I can get together to make hats works. Living in Wisconsin we all need hats in the winter. 






 Never feel guilty on how much you spend! The old saying, "if it feels good, do it"!

It is Friday and in the liturgical calendar it is Good Friday. The Friday before Easter Sunday. Growing up this always meant church service in the afternoon, usually a long service with communion.  Dobby is doing well, I can't believe how quickly he has settled in and how comfortable he seems to be from his first days here. He will see the vet next week, so we will see what she says about him.  Doing his loaf impression on the bed.  Neon Lights from Big Twist. Nice bright primary colors.     This is actually my closet at the end of March. It is rather empty at the moment but I want to wait to buy when the company has a promo where they have a special on shipping for a set price for the entire order. I am bummed, less than two weeks into this new blog and I get a comment that I had to delete. On the old blog I had comment moderation set up so that nothing showed until I had reviewed it. I was hoping with a new blog that I might have some time before that happened. Guess not. For now I will leave moderation off, but may need to put it back on.  Added 4/10/26 8 AM - Comment moderation is back on. I got six comments all from the same place. I did report them to Blogger, their ID said they had only been on Blogger since last month.   I am bummed as I seemed to have lost a few readers with the move. Even though I published the new link. Miss you guys! Dobby and I are at an impass of sorts. While he made himself scarce the day of his vet visit I figured I should see how well he would go into the carrier. NOT WELL! It has been a long week. Severe weather with thunderstorms and a nearby tornado. Over 5 inches of rain this week alone and overall this month double what we would normally get for the entire month. One fatality, he was struck by lightning on Wednesday night.  The guy was walking in a parking lot to his truck. Thankfully no damage here and also to none of my friends. Lots of flooding, especially streets.  Amazing to watch all the stupid drivers who drive through flooded streets. Then are dumbfounded when their car dies on them. Thousands of dollars in damage to get the car engine working and the car cleaned out too.  Still working on crochet projects for the time being. This one is Happy Rainbow yarn from Big Twist, bright pastel colors. Would make a great baby or kid blanket.  Dobby is doing well, he did not freak out with the storms this week.
